kids summer fun !!!!!!!! 2011

Here are my kids Jaden 2 and Paige 5 making the most of the summer holidays.
They had hours of fun just splashing about in the pool in the back garden.

Here we went to lego land and spent the full day there with my nephew my son and daughter it was brilliant...

Also we went bowling even 5 year olds can beat us at bowling....

Here we enjoyed the afternoon at nanna and grandads. Well this was our summer adventure, it shows you don't really need money to have a great time with your kids. We have recently been making robots out of cereal boxes and painting them, hours of fun with no money involved.......

Organix mighty meals

I recently recieved these 5 Organix food meals for 1-3 year olds.

They are quick and easy to cook they take 40 seconds in the microwave. Very conveinent for them busy afternoons when your child needs feeding.

The portion size was a good amount for a child of this age.

These Organix mighty meals are also ideal for weening babys to lumpy foods. The contents are made of healthy foods and no junk in them. they are nutricious and delicious.

Jaden is not the best eater but since eating these meals he has changed his eating plan. He enjoys a good hot meal now and i strongly recommend Organix to be tried and tested for them small toddlers who don't eat well.

All about my pregnancy,,,,,,,

Well with my first child Paige i was 16 and my she weighed 7lb 2.Half way through my pregnancy i started having  problems with my pelvis. My bones wern't strong enough to cope with the pregnancy which caused my pelvis to snap. The doctors called this pelvis disfuction. I was told i would have to have a c- section but as you no on your first you want to have a natural labour and i was adament i was. I ended up on crutches then had to have a brace fitted to take the weight of my bump, eveyday was gettin worse. I eventually went into labour and i did what i said i had my beutifull girl naturally even though i wish i didnt now as my pelvis has never been the same.

Pregnant again...........

Then doctors told me i could end up in a wheel chair if i had any more but i wanted a brother for Paige. Nearly 3 years down the line i fell pregnant with Jaden.

Decision time............

My head was in a mess as to what to do as i'd already been told, "anymore and you will be in a wheelchair." That led to sleepless nights, depression, having to decide what was best, 'risking being in a wheelchair, or going through with an abortion.' For the first time in my life i followed my heart not my head. That's when i had my beautiful little boy Jaden who was 8lb 11 which was a big difference to Paige. So as you mums know the pain of pregnancy, i was dreading laying this big baba out. The doctors said i had to have a c-section. I had no choice in this matter as my pelvis had started to trouble me again.

The day of my appointment......

I woke up scared, i was worried what would go wrong. It didn't cross my mind i was giving birth i was more worried that something wouldn't go right. The thought of being in a wheelchair with two small children scared me. What life would we all have? I felt as though i was to blame.

My appointment was at 1pm but had to be there at 9am. At 9.15 they told me i was next. Well my legs went, i was shaking, I couldn't even talk. I have never been so frightened in my life. They wheeled me down to thertre, got me ready, give me the eppidural and ..........................

The next thing i remember was hearing my little baby boy cry. The pain had just melted away at just hearing his cry. I had no concern for myself just as long as he was ok.

Luckily the doctor who told me "ill be in a wheelchair if i have anymore" was wrong. I recovered although it's not a full recovery. My pelvis still gives me trouble. I stiffen up if i've been sat for too long. Also it clicks if i move too fast and gives me incredible pain. The doctors say it will wear off but still no change and Jaden is now 2years 5month.

Now i have had both my children i dont think ill ever be back to norma.l I'm 22 and feel like a 60 year old woman. Day to day life sometimes is a struggle lifting, walking and playing with my kids affects me. I don't think people have heard about this pelvis disfunction so i'd just like to let people no how mine affected my life.

If you have a story similar please share it .....................

nania car seat

My children are now 2 and 5 and have the same car seats as what they had when they were out of their first baby car seat. These seats have been great and comfy for the kids. the cushions easily come off and are machine washable. They take two minutes to fit into a car although you do get full instructions. The seat can be changed into a booster seat once your child is older to save the emmbaressment for your child. Only reason being when the kids fall asleep their heads flop forward. More headrest support is needed.

Vtech first steps baby walker

I bought this fantastic baby walker for my son Jaden to help him with his stability. i bought it when he was 6months old. it has a fantastic range of sounds and noises to keep him entertained. I think this walker could be improved by maybe fitting rubber wheels. the reason being is that the plastic wheels slip on the floor on laminate and carpet and caused him to fall. other than this i would give this walker a good rating. he got his use out of it and it was reasonably priced.

Lindam saftey gate

This saftey gate has been the best one by far that we've had. cheap, reliable, and great value for money. We've had ours for two years now and it's still going strong.

It's very simple to assemble and put together once you've removed it from the box. It's metal frame makes in near impossible for a little one to escape. It also helps to clean it with any spillages the little ones make.

On the four corners it has rubber grips which grip to the door frame that you just twist to tighten. It only takes a minute if you want to take it off or move it to another room.

It has a handle at the top with two push buttons and a pull back handle. There is also a latch at the bottom. So if your little ones do think about escaping there heads will be baffled for hours.

HTC wildfire

HTC Wildfire Review

Phone rating:

I have had this phone now for four months and it's the best phone i've had. i'm on orange and i get 400 minutes any time any network, unlimited texts, and 500mb of internet use. and i pay a bargain price of £7.50 a month. The contract is over 18months. The HTC Wildfire brings Android technology to the budget smartphone sector. Incorporating the latest version of Android and HTC Sense plus a superbly responsive capacitive touchscreen, the Wildfire is both easy to use and supremely powerful, with access to thousands of apps. Combined with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, a media player, GPS, Google Maps, fast internet, a fast processor, plenty of memory and a big battery, this is quite probably the best smartphone in its price range. Available in Black, Graphite, Red or White. Best buy: *Free* with free line rental from Dialaphone (Graphite); or on Pay as you Go for £94.90 from Mobiles.co.uk (Silver).

GHD straightners

I bought my fantastic GHDs in pink at a salon. They cost me £89.99. They are super and come in a gorgeous shade of baby pink. My hair can last 2 or 3 days without needing to be straightened again. The best things about the GHDs are that your hair isn't dry a frazzled; it is glossy, smooth & sleek. I would recommend these to all girls. They may be pricey, but if you think of it like this: if you but cheap straighteners at around £30 you may go through a pair every few months - that works out at £120 a year. GHDs are cheaper than £120 brand new, and around 90% of the time, they last well over a year. Seriously. Invest in GHDs for salon sleek hair.

Mum 2 Mum wonder bib

I bought this bib to use with my son when he was a little younger , The bib is made of a super absorbent 100 % toweling front and a nylon waterproof backing . It comes in an array of gorgeous colour, with one that will suit everyone.

The bibs come in a standard one size fits all and is fastened at the back with press studs.

We tried the bib over several days including washing and drying to make sure i gave you a full and frank opinion of all aspects of the bib .

The bib is hemmed neatly and the colours are fantastic , and didn't run when i washed it on an average 40 degree wash.

The bibs can be machine washed and tumble dried which is great for busy mums who might not have time to hand wash and air dry .

is the range of colours which the bib is available in.

My little one felt comfortable in the bib and it did really well at catching dribbles and spills. I really loved the way the bib is adjustable fastening on the first press stud for smaller babies and the second one for older babies , making the bib excellent value for money as it grows with your child. The bib claims to hold 1/4 of a cup of liquid, which i really couldn't believe and had to test it out for myself .... where i was shocked to see it did actually hold the amount of water stated.

The fantastic wonder bib can be purchased from baby&more and are currently priced at £5.00
